Light rep. Enjoys the beach, especially burrowing in the sand. Especially burrowing in the sand with a good book. It makes his "substitute librarian" gig worthwhile, on days he'd so much rather be out in the sun. He figures making himself helpful enough would keep Alexandriath from killing him if she ever found out he's been sneaking her books outside!




He's found some seaside friends to read with!


Spiralighth was uneasy when news reached him about what Hollindath had done. Her reasons for wanting to look at those spellbooks had seemed weak, sure, but she was so cute and persuasive … it seemed harmless enough. He didn’t seriously think she’d actually try a magick like that! Those were the kind that tended to result in unintended consequences, and while it seems she was successful in getting out, now here was poor Lohindath, ripped from her own home to fill the void the other Skydancer had left behind. The leadership was in a total uproar…. He hoped it would blow over without his name getting dragged into it - He WAS afraid of what Alexandriath would do in that case, never mind "diplomatic immunity"!

Spiralighth had been flattered when Hollindath had first approached him. Most people would just dismiss him as another flighty noodle, goofing off instead of attending to serious matters. Sure, he'd rather read fiction more than some weightier subject matter, but the truth was, there always seemed to be something "real" in the good ones that would pique his interest, and then he'd be searching out more information on the subject, either to answer a question raised in his mind, or to flesh out some background. So in fact, he knows quite a lot, on a variety of topics, and has no trouble pointing library patrons to the resources they need. Or to talk about it, at length ... He thought Hollindath had actually recognized his depth, when she started to chat him up. It was only natural he'd want to show off, just a little ... He was so disappointed to find out she'd had an ulterior motive after all.
