Something lies in the unknown. Something sinister.

Steady and Somber

Not much is known about Bastille to this day. He arrived with Nomad in tow, needing the help and protection of a clan, any clan and this is the one they found. They both bore wounds from their previous lives and said little about where they'd come from and what had happened. To this day Bastille says little but listens intently to everything he's heard. He seems to have an almost unnatural ability to hear what is really being said and the thoughts behind a fellow dragon's eyes. He says he just pays attention.

Some speculate he's the son of a lost warrior princess and that his grandparents have connections to the first wars with the beast clans. If there was any proof of these accusations the consequences for the clan would be dire indeed. The rumors are in fact true, and only a select few know this. Bastille is careful to keep his secret and he blesses the Warrior Mother Plaguebringer for his coloration differing so much from either of his parents and the Steady Father Earthshaker for the shift to a mottled hide. But he can't conceal himself quite so easily as his nimble mate, he's built like a fighter in all regards, lacking much of the slim elegance so endearing to most Imperials. He recognizes this and knows his best bet to remain anonymous is to keep moving.

He adores Nomad, for all her wandering through the long years she always seems to find her way back to him no matter where he is. Their position within the clan is tenuous at best, though they'll always be indebted to Nayolyne for Sanctuary and a place to rest and they recognize this debt. Still, the pair usually only remain long enough to hatch their eggs before they're off, taking the young with them to raise and teach on the wing until they're strong and smart enough to strike out on their own.

Exalting Bastille to the service of the Stormcatcher will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
