Biography
Koan is a musician. In spite of this he loves his silence and rarely speaks; when he uses his voice it comes out in scrapes and growls like stones falling against each other.
His specialty is making drums. He carves and shapes the wooden frames with his talons and stretches hide over them, strange hides from the strange beasts that he hunts. When festival time comes the air is enlivened with the booming of his drums, and Koan can be induced to tell stories. In these cases he proves himself an able and entrancing storyteller, and the entire clan gathers to listen to him spin fables, invented tales, true deeds and tragedies from long ago.
