Heart of Ice |
 It's unclear if Frost would have turned out any differently had he grown up in a normal environment or loving home....but he didn't. As a hatchling, the imperial was stolen away to he used as a tool by an unhinged young Skydancer. The first days he can really remember were sitting coddled but confined to a cave, his icy breath cooling the room significantly. He was a guard, a gatekeeper; because that icy cold he breathed kept the Skydancers prisoner sluggish and docile. After the prisoner escaped, Frost stopped being useful and was freed. But he didn't have much trouble fending for himself. He learned quickly how to hunt and fight....but speaking was another matter. When he was finally found, out by himself, the shade-touched king recognized Frost for what he was; cold-hearted. With no care for any soul but his own, Frost willingly hurt others in exchange for a place in the shade-touched clan. It was, after all, easier living a life when you had protection and a roof over your head. It didn't matter that he did not speak, and his icy attitude didn't seem to bother anyone either. The perfect home. It was only then did he meet that young Skydancer again. But he held no more ill will for her than he did for anyone else. Which was quite a lot. Song: Apashe - Dies Irae
