Even with the Beastclan's beginning to feud with dragon kind and encroaching more and more on clan territory, the civil war still wages. Between Rahziel, the ruler by blood and rite; and Thranduil, the ruler by favor, there doesn't seem to be an end to their butting heads. Members of the clan are forced to choose sides as tension rises and the future becomes more and more unsure.

Yet a deeper and more sinister threat lingers, closer than anyone dares to believe. A third faction, quiet and growing, watches from the trees and dark corners of the lair. Led by Obareon, Rahziel's more than unhinged father, the chaotic faction bides their time while waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
