Biography
The Dragonblight sent this creature after me, I can feel it. It follows me endlessly, no matter how many times I shatter it into splinters. The idiots that follow me cannot see it, but I can.
Why is She doing this? I thought that She, of all spirits, would understand showing fealty to their deity...
Yselle cannot remember the last time she went a day without spotting Rime. Sometimes the shambling skeleton is on the other side of a vast canyon, just at the edge of her vision. Sometimes she's flying in Yselle's shadow, somehow matching her speed no matter how fast she flies. But the worst times are when she wakes up from her fitful, restless sleep to see Rime staring at her from the other side of whatever shelter she's managed to slip into for the night.
The loose conglomeration of sticks, bones, ice and snow is easily destroyed with a single swipe of Yselle's tail, and yet she returns before the next day is out to resume her vigil. Every single time. On the rare occasions when Yselle shares her space with followers, the remains are always gone by the time they come to investigate the commotion.
Yselle had never believed in the Dragonblight, until now. There's no possible other explanation - a dragon hunting her down wouldn't have wasted time on such theatrics, and if it was a potential ally they'd long exhausted her patience. Only a spirit could create something like Rime and only the Dragonblight would use her in such a petty, pathetic way.
Part of her views it almost as a compliment, and to finally be acknowledged by something a level above mortal beings like herself, even if it's not the Lightweaver, gives her an odd thrill.
Unfortunately for Yselle, she's way off the mark. The Dragonblight has only created one servant, and he serves the clan.
