Personality
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Byakuran is the literal definition of a mad scientist. Not the type that cackles nonstop and mixes colorful chemicals, though. The type to hum happily to himself while he's dissecting another subject, or to slide his claws down a blackboard because he likes the sound. His voice sounds like an ice cube going down your back- cold, calculating and hitting in the worst spots possible. He is not a fun guy to be around- if he ever tries to carry on a conversation for more than a few minutes, it's more than likely that he's trying to coerce another unknowing subject into one of his experiments. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Byakuran led a difficult childhood. He was taken from his nest at only a few days old and brought to a strange white room, where he received no contact from others except for plates of food shoved under the door twice each day. When he slept, which was rare, he would have dreams of being experimented on, figures standing above him and inspecting him. When he woke up, however, there would be no sign anything had changed at all from the previous day. Only a few odd needle-shaped pains in his side, or circular burns in his skin from some unknown origin. One day, something felt different. He woke up, stretched his sore body, sensing an atmosphere of change in the air. Before he could ponder it further, the always-locked door slid open and three white-coated figures strode in. He's ready for the final experiment. Won't it destroy his mind? Who cares? Their voices were strange, ringing around his head like bells. It was only a few seconds before he was shoved over, strapped to a table and immobilized with the jab of a syringe. All he could do was watch as his dreams from all those nights became reality. It felt like the operations went on for hours. He could feel, physically feel his mind leaving him, insanity slowly creeping up on him with every painful second. Finally, with one particularly painful needle jab, he jerked his bound arm. The immobilizing shot was wearing off. In a surge of desperation and insanity, he broke from the table and sprung at the shocked scientists. Soon, the white walls were red with blood. He fled the laboratory where he'd been kept for years, leaving a gory trail behind him. However, he couldn't shake the memories of his captivity from his shattered head. Soon, he began conducting his own experiments. Growing even more sadistic than his captors, he continued on with a legacy of unlawful experimentation. |
