╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Iaspis is known for her well-timed comments and confusing quotes. She spends most of her time in the Curati's meticulously organized records collection. Between the towering shelves of books and papers and the continuously humming databanks full of even more information, this is the only place she truly feels comfortable. While it may seem boring, she enjoys cataloguing the daily happenings of the Bastion, and takes pride in being as thorough as possible. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯She lived happily for a good many years before coming to the Bastion. Living in a lair by herself, reading books and occasionally going out for food, life was peacefully enjoyable. However, her peace was soon interrupted when a new clan set up their lairs a small distance away from hers, filling the once-silent air with chatter and noise. This was a nightmare. Her quiet existence ruined, Iaspis stewed in silence for days, her hatred of the newcomers only growing. She had to do something. One day, after too many hatchlings roamed too close to her and too much noise disturbed her, she finally snapped. Her mind went black and brown, fizzing and crumbling like a rockslide. If the new clan wouldn't be quiet themselves, she'd make them be quiet. When she came to, the young clan was dead. She expected to feel bad about this-- she'd just murdered an entire clan. However, she just felt... Nothing. She had to know why. Why had she suddenly become so calm over all this? None of her books helped. In her search for information (and to get away from those looking to punish her for her crimes) she navigated through harsh winds and battering rain to get to the Specter Bastion. By the time she'd gotten there, parts of her skin had solidified and fossilized, creating jasper-like patterns in the white scales. Yet another mystery to be solved-- could the records in the Bastion hold the answers to all her questions? |
