Biography
Runa is originally from a troupe in the Starfall Isles, but she spent an extensive period of time in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, learning to scry, and seeking the answers to the universe's mysteries. As a result, she has a rather unusual accent. During her studies, Runa discovered her hidden power: the power of the void. By making a void of magic, she creates a sort of vacuum, and can discern innate, untapped potential within others. She also claims to be able to reveal other mysteries, but just how honest she's being about all of her powers is unknown. One thing that's undeniable is that she is a borderline fanatic when it comes to silks.
Place of work: A permanently-pitched tent, which is a stark contrast to the rest of Eightleaf Town. It's purple at the top and fades into an orange towards its base, and white stars speckle its exterior. Upon its top is a brass-cast sun ornament. Inside drape many, different-colored silks from the walls and ceilings, and scattered around the ground are an assortment of layered rugs. Throw pillows and other cushions lie in piles here and there, and there is a wall of opaque drapery which splits the tent's interior in half. The side that one walks into from the entrance is the lobby. On the other side of the wall is the proprietress' work station. While it has a similar aesthetic to the lobby, it's smaller and contains more knickknacks, including star charts, a telescope, and a polished, rosewood table with a stand. The stand is empty while the proprietress is away, but if she's there, that is where she places her pearl. There are cushions around the stand, so that she and her guests may sit around it, as she gazes into her pearl to seek out the answers to her customers' mysteries. Though she charges treasure and gems for her services, she also always accepts silks as payment.
