Sicaea's life began amidst the Shifting Expanse, her egg shattering during the energy of a lightning storm that surrounded her clan's den. At the time, such a birth was considered a small blessing by the Stormcatcher, who would 'charge' chosen eggs with electrical energy as they hatched. These 'charged' hatchlings more often then not turned into prodigies for their clans and were very fast learners.

True to the legend, Sicaea got the grasp of machinery and gizmos with relative ease at a very young age, but to the shock of her peers seemed uninterested in them. She often spent her free time in isolation, settled on storm clouds as she looked out over the vast sky and the lands below her, seemingly lost in thought.

Technology was useful, but Sicaea wanted something else; she wanted to help others through natural means, not by using fancy machinery or trinkets. Spurred on by this interest, Sicaea began fiddling with gizmos on her own accord, planning complex blueprints and toiling long into the nights in her efforts. After some time, she came forth to her clan with a new creation; a gauntlet that channeled the natural energies of the elements to mend wounds of dragons that shared the same element of the one channeled. She thought herself very clever.

Her clan exiled her.

Her intentions to show the gauntlet to other nations upset her clan, being the fairly xenophobic lot they were. With a heavy heart Sicaea departed, gauntlet on her wrist, into the midst of a vicious storm. The turbulence threw her around mercilessly until she fell from the sky, landing in the Ashfall Wastes. She was discovered by a group of dragons that would not allow her to leave; apparently she had fallen into a secretive territory, and it was far too risky for her to leave.

Ever since, Sicaea has become the clan's healer, using her gauntlet and the lava around her to mend the wounds of the assassins as they returned from their various missions. She has become an asset to her peers, something she had wanted all along. For now, it seems that all is well that ends well.
