Finn is a Tundra that thrives in orderly environments. However, he was adopted as a hatchling into a clan that does not seem to understand the meaning of order. They all simply live in the moment, in what he perceives as the most disorganized way possible. To help combat this constant sense of chaos, he began a diary (though he insists that it is a journal) recording the events of his life.

If he did not write down what happens here on a daily basis, the world would miss the many joys that come with running a clan of crazy dragons. No stories of smashed spicy peppers, no plethora of questions asked to each and every visitor, nothing. Those around them would notice not even the multiple explosions courtesy of the local scientists or budding alchemists. Thankfully, Finian is normally around to take detailed notes about the lives of the clan, making the world a slightly more organized place.

When he is not jotting down a note on how many accidents occurred today, Finn writes fantasy novels under an unknown pseudonym. Apparently, they go for a decent price and make up for the lack of providing he does for the clan.
