Euterpe

Clan mother likes bats, which is why her best friend is a bat. She's a pretty cool dragon lady, she breathes bats (like breathing fire, except when she opens her mouth and exhales, a cloud of bats comes out, which her bat then alpha-dominates and adds to his personal army of bats) and doesn't afraid of anything. Sometimes though she has a hard time turning off her bat breath, and she releases bats every time she exhales, which gets old fast. When she and Erebus were first building their lair, they added a special bat chimney she uses to vent excess bats whenever her personal bat's army's ranks are full.

Sometimes it's not, though, because the bat army does have occasional casualties and their ranks need replenishing. The bat army gets up to all sorts of hijinx, their Engineering Corps helps maintain the lair (especially a lot of the plumbing and electrical work that dragons can't get at because they're f**king huge) and they sometimes have skirmishes with other stuff that's out there (beast clans, clans from enemy flights, that kind of thing; sh*t's dangerous out there and accidents can happen as well as combat situations, some bats do die in the line of service, and are then honoured by their comrades in moving ceremonies).

Clan mother is also the ancient Greek muse of song, despite the fact that the ancient Greeks lived in a different universe than hers (one where magic and primordial forces don't have a weird tendency to coalesce into dragon gods). That Muse is what Euterpe's named after and these dragons have personalities which are at least partially deterministic because I'm the one writing this and I say so, thus she must have some of the same qualities.

Clan mother does in fact have a lovely singing voice, and often moves other dragons to tears with her song, even (inexplicably) those who are physiologically incapable of crying. She does lamentations at the bat funerals and also sometimes when a dragon is exalted, unless it was one she didn't like. Unfortunately Euterpe can sing only rarely because it takes her a lot of concentration to sing without issuing forth a cloud of bats, which tends to ruin the mood. She has to practice each performance for quite a while in her special bats-don't-exist chamber, which contains a pocket universe where bats don't exist. Her performances are thus a rare treat for the clan and everyone makes sure to clear their schedules when one comes around.
