Biography
|
Though his parents are both excellent singers, this coatl isn't fond of using his voice, whether for speaking or singing. Instead, he prefers to communicate through movement, through gestures and dance. His is very graceful in expressing himself and prides himself on his uniqueness, even though he is often mocked and made fun of for being mute by choice. He has been this way since he was a hatchling, often being called "dumb" or "a special child" by others; this doesn't seem to get him down though, as he keeps on doing it. He split off from his parents in hopes of fresh new experiences, wishing to stay away from the band drama, and build his own life. Valentino- though dorky, proud, and flamboyant- is a bit shy, often preferring to hide behind Kukulan or stay in his den. It takes a while for him to get comfortable with others, and finally get out of his shell. Once you've earned his trust, you'll never regret it! Valentino is very compassionate, and polite, often surprising others with random affections and kind gestures. He is highly unlikely to ever turn down a request from somebody he likes, and even then he's a bit of a pushover... and a coward. Sadly, this is where his faults lie. If someone wishes to manipulate or push him into something he doesn't want to do, it's relatively easy, especially since he won't ''speak'' against it or call out for help. He believes others are as well-meaning as him, and that they just can't understand what he's trying to convey... despite it being obvious. Due to this belief, he often won't ask for help from friends when somebody is being mean or forcing him into something. Which, if too serious, can lead to a depressed Valentino.

A half hallowed tree lays in the way of a boulder, the hole in the trunk leading to a large divet- a dragon-made cave- in the large stone. The tree is decorated with brightly colored feathers, metal jewelry, and living flowers; broken clay vases lay up against the outside of the trunk, adorned in a similar fashion. The interior is deceptively large, most of the space being taken up with treasures and junk of various kinds. It is eerily similar to something you'd see on an episode of hoarders, not that as if any dragon would understand what that means, or get the reference. A large, salt-filled, searing rabbit pelt mattress lays where items don't, and looks quite comfy. Blankets are scattered everywhere except the bed, and overall every object looks out of place or messy. A secret red-feathered nest, with a quilted blue blanket, lays in a hidden nook the back- a curtain obscuring it from view.
