Cherub is a male coatl with silver scales and a white underbelly, golden monarch wings, and gold gems that adorn his entire body.

Cherub and his mate, Eclaire, are the messengers of the clan. Eclaire writes weather reports, updates on the temperature, season predictions and many others. Cherub then takes the reports and any letters the other dragons of the clan want to send to other clans, and delivers them.

Cherub's job is crucial since if the entire lair collapses, or a dragon is injured and the clan nurse is absent, a report can be made and sent to a nearby clan within hours. He is also the dragon who sends out adoption papers, so dragons can adopt new hatchlings directly from their lair.

Cherub and Eclaire both sport a rather elegant look, and so do all their children. Cherub's unique markings caught the attention of his now mate, and they realized they shared lots in common. Both dragons are considered the most knowledgeable in the clan. They are one of the very few dragons that know how to write and use a typewriter. They want to spread their knowledge, so the couple enjoy tutoring the young ones and reading stories to them.

The messenger likes to collect books and newspapers while running his duties. He adds the books in his private library and organizes them by the flight in which the books originate from. Cherub owns a very valuable book that is full of knowledge: it is called the Encyclopedia and it is about the origins of each flight as well as the Beastclans, and about each dragon breed and their homelands. Cherub wants to open up his own bookstore or public library. He would write lots of fairytales and novels. His favorite food is battered cinnamon loach kebabs, his favorite drink is carbonated rose water, his favorite color is white, and his favorite thing to do during his free time is to read.
Eclaire

Cherub and Eclaire met when they were still young and playful yearlings. They were both standing between the border of Cherub's home, the Sunbeam Ruins, and Eclaire's, the Shifting Expenase. Cherub was curious as to why a dragon which looked like she was a natural child of the light, but when Eclaire approached him, he saw how her eyes were a very bright blue, but at the same time, her eyes carried that dullness which meant that the Nocturne probably didn't feel like she belonged to the lightning element. Cherub invited Eclaire over to play often, and it was only when they were young adults that he asked her to be his mate. Eclaire moved into the ruins and has enjoyed her new home since.
Marian

Cherub is friends with the young adult dragon Marian as they both enjoy reading and writing. Cherub says he sees his younger self in her, both share a quiet personality. Marian sometimes brings wax candles for Cherub and his wife to light up their den.
Eclaire

Eclaire is very quiet and self-kept but follows many of the mannerisms her family taught her. She loves debating and tends to get aggressive towards the opposing side, and she will carry anything on until she proves the other dragon wrong or until they give in.
