Eclaire is very short in comparison to other Nocturnes, but she is very elegant looking: Eclaire has glossy crimson-red wings and lustrous gold scales, big doe eyes, and a lace pattern that adorns her underbelly and the tips of her wings. She is very quiet and self-kept but follows many of the mannerisms her family taught her. Eclaire loves debating and tends to get aggressive towards the opposing side, and she will carry anything on until she proves the other dragon wrong or until they give in; in other words, she is thick-headed and strong to her beliefs. Eclaire is named after the delicious French dessert. She is a dragon with a sweet tooth and loves anything to do with sugar, that's her little secret. Eclaire, despite her small size, tries her best to contribute to her clan. She is one of the newer dragons to join the family, but everyone seems to like her despite her awkward silence and then loud outbursts if someone says something she doesn't agree with. Eclaire usually helps Cherub with spotting and scouting the surrounding area for threats. Eclaire is also the best writer in the clan, she is also the only dragon who can read well in the clan aside from Marian. She is responsible for writing out messages and updates to neighboring clans/territories about weather changes, scarcity of food and water, and any potential threats, such as natural disasters, plagues, and beasts. Cherub Eclaire and Cherub met when they were still young and playful yearlings. They were both standing between the border of Cherub's home, the Sunbeam Ruins, and Eclaire's, the Shifting Expenase. Cherub was curious as to why a dragon which looked like she was a natural child of the light, but when Eclaire approached him, he saw how her eyes were a very bright blue, but at the same time, her eyes carried that dullness which meant that the Nocturne probably didn't feel like she belonged to the lightning element. Cherub invited Eclaire over to play often, and it was only when they were young adults that he asked her to be his mate. Eclaire moved into the ruins and has enjoyed her new home since. Crema Crema is Eclaire's little sister, and although Eclaire is small for a nocturne, Crema is nearly half her older sister's size! Crema is more on the playful and silly side where as Eclaire is on the strict and uptight side. Ever since they were children, they always used to argue. One thing the sisters have in common is their love for babysitting and gentleness when it comes to taking care of other critters, such as pets and eggs. |
Cherub
The messenger likes to collect books and newspapers while running his duties. He adds the books in his private library and organizes them by the flight in which the books originate from. Cherub owns a very valuable book that is full of knowledge: it is called the Encyclopedia and it is about the origins of each flight as well as the Beastclans, and about each dragon breed and their homelands.
