Carol
Female, Mates with Sugar Cookie
"Christmas Ornament" Theme
Name Rater
Ruby Ring tumblr_inline_oat0gg3Pex1soemy4_100.png

Carol is a coatl dragon with feathered wings that have a gorgeous red sheen to them, shimmery golden scales, and lace which she sports on her wings and across her entire underbelly.

Carol and her husband, Sugar Cookie, love the winter times. They love the crackling of the fireplace and the frosted windows. They love the smell of fresh cookies and family get-togethers. They love the season-long break they get after a hard year's work. The couple are both very generous and participate in charities. Often, Carol bakes cookies for the young dragons and Sugar Cookie gifts toys to them. Because of that, the old couple are not only loved within their clan, but they are loved by everyone.

Carol works at Meringue's bakery. Carol was Meringue's mentor. She is a very skilled baker and participates in lots of bake-offs from other regions and flights, and that's what inspired Meringue to begin baking. Together, with the funds they've raised from fund-raisers and selling cookies, Carol and Sugar Cookie were able to afford the resources needed to build the bakery, where Meringue was taught all the essential skills and secret recipes that Carol hard learned when she was a young dragon. From all over Sornieth, dragons come to try their world-famous desserts.

Since moving in, Sugar Cookie and Honey have been actively expanding their lair. Most of the other dragons that have been adopted into the lair were from orphanages or from parents who couldn't take care of their children. Sugar Cookie and Carol see all of their dragons as their children, and love each and everyone of them. They see Honey as their daughter, too, and both take pride in the fact that she is so strong and is single-handedly supporting and running a moderately-sized lair, in addition to running a shop and caring for the constant new hatchling arrivals.

Sugar Cookie

Sugar Cookie, who was lovingly nicknamed that by his wife because "he's just so sweet", owns a toy shop, and he works long hours each day building doll houses and wooden cars and then selling them to all the good children. He taught Honey, the clan leader, everything she now knows: how to fit wood together perfectly, build sturdy structures, and how to burn intricate designs in wood. In return, once Honey was done building her lair, she allowed Sugar Cookie and his wife to move in.

Honey

Honey is a young dragon who, despite being a skydancer, is a carpenter (a job often occupied by more stronger dragon breeds) due to a wing injury. She founded her clan and built it from the ground up. She "adopted" in Carol and Sugar Cookie after seeing how they were struggling financially, but still loved doing what they did best. She sees the old couple as her parents/grand parents. Because of this, they see each other as a close-knit family.

"I started this project back in late May and it has been the most expensive and time-consuming project of mine yet! I love Christmas themed characters and I developed a love for the primary and secondary genes Metallic and Alloy!

My fashion-buds must be really expensive because the two dragons I want to gene will cost me 10,000,000 Treasure! I originally planned on having two breeding pairs: one pair would have a creamy color range for the tertiary, the other would have a golden color range for the tertiary.

After about two weeks of searching the color combinations, I began to lose hope, so I scrapped the project entirely! However, I kept on searching, and now I have finally found the correct colored dragons! Now it's time to grind for 10,000,000 Treasure. Yay...

"This project is finally complete and I am so glad! It's taken over a month to finish it and the breeding couple will be ready to breed soon! I can't wait to see their hatchlings! My proudest (and most expensive) project yet!"
