He wanders around the Plane of Purgatory, which is where Nocturnes and the recently deceased roam, and collects budding emperors. He spots their festering souls entwining, scoops them up, and places them in glass bottles of varying sizes and cares for them. Like a benevolent, unseen spirit, he is a force that prevents an emperor from forming in the land of the living.

For him, though, he collects them because they seem so hurt and alone. He can understand that. He cares for them like one would with any animal hurt, but dangerous, until they are no longer angry and twisted.

Just imagine a vagabond with a bunch of those nice little glass containers filled with nice vegetation depicting a mini idyllic environment, but with miniature emperors instead.


He is named after the Beta Cap star that makes up the Capricornus constellation. It means Slaughterer.
