Capriccio

Capriccio has always had an affinity for magic and spent much of his youth chasing sources of it through the turbulent weather systems of the Windswept Plateau. His pursuit of such a source led him all the way to the Shifting Expanse, to the middle of a supercell to be precise. Caught off guard by the ferocity of the foreign weather, he was unable to escape and was tossed around violently until he collapsed in the sands. Luckily Balthazar came across him quickly and convinced Thorn to take him in until he recovered. Intrigued by the dragons, storms, and magic found in the area (and Balthazar), Capriccio decided to settle down at ETC B-4 for a while to learn more.

Unusual for a Spiral, Cappriccio is single-minded in his pursuit of knowledge and magic. Often he focuses so intently on a discovery that he completely blocks out the world around him. He prefers direct and clear communication as opposed to wordplay and fluff, which is likely why he gets along so well with Balthy and Thorn. Capriccio can often be found spiraling around the front of a storm system or curled up around Balthy.
