The month of fear had arrived. Beasts raced each other down the woodland paths. Bats circled and shrieked in the skies. Unspeakable things lurked in the deepest, murkiest of ponds.
Nighthaunt smiled as she drew herself through the shadows, letting the fangs of her lion headdress glint in the light of a stained full moon. Her claws made small indents as she moved, slowly creeping toward her target location. Her sharp, glittering eyes, red as blood, locked onto her destination, calculating how much power it would take to get there. Once within range, her wings unfolded as she sprang...
And knocked on the door of a dragon lair. As a dragon came into sight, she yowled the traditional cry: "Trick or treat!"
