Hidden in the Shadows, one finds the deepest truths.
New to his position after the sudden passing of the former High Priest, T'ad is the youngest Temple Head in Cerar Oriya's recent history. He strongly suspects that the Shadowbinder chose him because her temple had been growing increasingly rigid and self-important under the previous High Priest, and thus considers it his divinely appointed duty to shake the stuffiness out of every cobwebbed priestly corner. He is overwhelmingly popular among the younger priests and the lay devotees, but the old guard is resistant to accepting his leadership. He bears their 'advice' with as much good humor as he can muster, and when they become too tedious he makes sure they fall victim to a few harmless-but-embarrassing pranks to remind them of just which deity they made their sacred vows to. One of the sacred duties of the High Priests of Cerar Oriya is performing the ritual summoning of the Avatar of their deity on elemental holidays and sacred dates. This is a particularly difficult task for the priests of the Shadow, as their Spirit is notoriously impossible to command. With his first set of high holy days fast approaching, T'ad has begun to make a habit of venturing into the lower rings of the City, alone and without his priestly trappings, seeking out the elusive Spirit in the hopes that a more personal approach will be more acceptable to the trickster. - - - Cheerful | Learned | Irreverent He / Him / His Pansexual Mate: Solus Devotee of the Spirit of Shadow | @@ |
