Biography
Only active dragon (1/2) ever with this color combination!
Estella, from a young age, had only wanted one thing: to be adored. She craved attention, whether it was from her often inattentive parents, the other performers, or their ever changing audience.
Her parents and her were a traveling troupe and would perform plays as well as fortune telling. They had very little time for her, but she tried every which way to get it, even if it was negative attention. She would hide the props needed that night, run around with performers' wigs, step in wet paint from the drying scenery. Of course, all these actions made her parents want to be in her presence even less.
The audience proved to be more receptive to her though so as she grew older, she focused her efforts on them instead of her troupe. She was a darling hatchling and would often get pats on the head, tips from her terrible pan pipe playing, or make them laugh while she tried juggling scarves or making jokes.
As she became a young dragon, she was given larger roles in their plays and was quite the ham. She quickly became a favorite, and she started to have some solos which delighted her. Even with everyone's attention, it wasn't enough though. So, she left.
Estella went off and formed a troupe of one doing soliloquies and fortune telling. She had gotten pretty good at fortune telling before she left and that made for the majority of her livelihood, at least in the beginning. She was a skilled actress as well and as she started to perform for more dragons, word got out and her audience size increased almost exponentially.
In fact, she became so well known she was asked to join a royal theatre group and perform for kings and queens. Estella was ecstatic about the news and joined the professionals. The problems started though once she joined as it was clear, she was not good at working with others.
This could have been forgivable, but after opening night, Estella was promptly ejected from the group due to her own insecurities. She had never performed for thousands of dragons before, and was thrilled, but had only a small part. It wasn't enough, she knew in that moment she needed more. When she got out there to say her lines of a timid young scholar, she went off-book and started making up her own witty remarks, very out of character to add, and stole the show.
The audience roared with laughter and she got the largest applause when she came out, but when the curtain fell, the manager told her she was fired. Estella was outraged and stormed off, flying without giving a care to where she went, almost crashing into birds on her way.
After time to cool off and reflect on her life, in addition to acknowledging she had a problem with being a bottomless pit with a need for attention, she tried to live a low, quiet life. One day, she saw a new dragon come to her part of the woods, a beautiful Nocturne named Letheo. He was flitting on the edge of the sea's surface, catching insects. He noticed her watching him, and smiled and waved back. They got to talking and over time became close friends then lovers. She joined the clan and has been contented with her life ever since.
