Miuji He/Him PROJECT: # 006 Large Winged Light Weight Mirror Mad Sorcerer & Alchemist | Unexpected Berserker | Insect Breeder & Gatherer Though many generations down, Miuji is a relative of the treacherous Octavian, who once tried to overthrow Enah's rule over the Wasting Disease. Though the attempt failed, it took many lives in the process, killing Rishast and Yzandi, the clan leaders' most devoted supporters. Miuji is the last person you want to meet on the battlefield. This has less to do with his fighter's prowess and more to do with his personality. He has no honour and will do anything it takes to win. If the rulebook doesn't mention it, it's fair game; and if the rulebook does mention it, well, that just means he has to be a little more cautious about things. There is no line he will not cross. Miuji doesn't put a lot of stock in words. Or rather, he does, but he doesn't trust them. Words are powerful tools of deception and he knows it well, knows exactly how to twist them around to manipulate others. He has no need to deceive people of course, no need to manipulate their emotions and watch the resulting turmoil. He just thinks it's fun is all. Everyone needs a hobby, right? The thrill of striking out with poison daggers hidden under sweet velvety words--that's something he can only get in a mixed-breed clan, something that would never work in a pack of Mirrors, uncaring for words and all too focused on action. Miuji appreciates action, oh does he ever appreciate concrete action, but there's a certain appeal to how the vaguest statement can elicit the most exciting (and consequential) actions. Most say that uninjured lone Mirrors are abnormal. Most would also say that Miuji is abnormal, in more ways than one. A solitary dragon, Miuji generally keeps to himself, with no close friends or acquaintances. His bloodline, unpleasant personality, fondness for gross things, and all-around weirdness are more than enough to ward most people off. The more determined ones are eventually turned off by his terrible temper and random, inexplicable outbursts. Not even Silk, a fellow insect and arachnid enthusiast, has managed to bypass Miuji's self-imposed walls, although he's come closer than any other has ever tried to get. And while you could call Miuji and the enchantress Zahara acquaintances, they are more rivals than anything, even considering their occasional collaboration. He keeps everyone at wings' length, in view at all times, because it's the only way he knows. It would take a truly persistent dragon to get past Miuji's defences and see what he's really like. And if any dragon can be described as truly persistent, it would have to be Misha. Miuji... doesn't know what to think about Misha. He doesn't understand her, at all. He's not nice to her, and he mocks her relentlessly, but she just keeps coming back. She's too friendly, really. She's like that with everyone in the clan, but everyone else is at least nice to her. He's not nice to her, or to anybody, but she keeps being nice to him anyway. He doesn't get it. It doesn't make sense. What is she thinking, if anything? Is it all a ruse? A plan to get close to him and use him? Or is she just some foolish friendly fae with flowers for brains? He made the Otherworldy Aura himself, just to show Zahara that he won't be beat when it comes to enchanting.
