Impa isn't very fond of any of the deities. She's watched throughout her whole life, hopping from clan to clan, as her friends have disappeared one by one ("Exaulted, Impa. There's a difference,") to go "serve the Paguebringer's cause" or "further the Flamecaller's reach" or whatever deity the clan she happened to be with worshipped at the time. It happened slowly, painfully, and she'd had enough. So she kept hopping. Eventually, she heard of a mysterious clan living in the Tangled Wood and thought she'd try her luck there. After getting lost multiple times she finally found them, well, more like they found her. As a small but loving clan, slowly growing within the Shadowbinder's territory, they welcomed her warmly with open arms. Well, most of them. Impa found that while Ausha and her clan revere the Shadowbinder, they do not worship her which Impa was grateful for. Now that she lives in a new clan, she is very protective of them and refuses to let The Great Eleven toy with her and her friends lives just because they can. Screw that noise. Impa may be small but she is full of bitterness and spite and if you think for one second that she won't blast you with plague magic till your body is covered in boils if you hurt her friends, then you got another thing coming. |

Impa is one of the many dragons who are adept at magic, therefore she has taken on the role of clan witch. While Impa is a master at quick magic based on her own energy reserves and pulling from the world's magic lines, she's not the best at brewing magical potions or magic that takes time to weave together. Which is how she ended up under the tutelage of Tiakken and Pleo. Tiakken works with her on weaving spells that are complicated and take time to master. Flash spells are all well and good, but they aren't all that powerful. If he can teach Impa more complex magic, she'll be a powerhouse for sure. With Pleo, the two work on brews, potions and elixirs. Although Pleo herself very rarely uses magic for her herbal concoctions, she prefers for nature to heal rather than magic, that doesn't mean she doesn't have the skills. Besides, Impa is eager to learn and an excellent student when she's actually trying and is determined to prove that just because she is plague does not mean she cannot heal with her magic. If anything, she says that it gives her an advantage. ("Who better to heal a disease than someone who was born of the disease bringer herself?") When Impa isn't having a lesson with Pleo or Tiakken and is still feeling productive, she'll read up on everything she can about magic to get a better feel for her own. Though it's a very rare occurrence. Dak about had a heart attack the first time he saw Impa sitting quietly on one of the tables, reading of all things. |

Impa is surprisingly loud for someone so small and rather expressive for a fae. She makes friends easily and is one of the most social dragons in the clan, constantly flitting about, seeing what everyone is doing when she's bored and finished with all her duties for the day. She gets along well with mostly everyone, especially her best friend, Thore, and Pleo. Pleo's easy-going nature and Impa's fun, boisterous personality mesh very well and the two get along, much to Dak's displeasure who works closely with Pleo for his alchemy materials and medicines. He doesn't hate Impa but she definitely enjoys making his life harder. If Impa is present during their work sessions, things go much slower due to her teasing and riff raff. ("You're such an old soul, Dak!") To most of the clan's delight, Impa is sly and a self-proclaimed master prankster who has never been caught, except by Vax, but she has no idea how he caught her, she's a master! She's constantly pulling stunts on her clansmen, especially Dak, poor guy, along with Thore when she's not busy with weapons and fighting and all that nonsense. ("You wound me, Impa! My wonderful, fighting skills are not nonsense! In fact, I'm very beautiful and graceful when I fight!") When asked why, she claims it's "how she shows affection" with a smirk. Nobody believes her. |

Unlike Dak's, Impa's familiar was not created- at least not by her. Impa found Suri roaming the woods, alone and hungry, attacking anything she could grab. Unfortunately, this landed her in hot water a lot. It was during such a time that Impa saved her and brought her back to the lair. Now that she's claimed the cauldron as her familiar, Dak insists that Impa keep Suri away from Ren, as the two tend to break out into aggressive displays of competitiveness, which then usually dissolve into physical fights.
