Most dragons do their best not to laugh when they see Sugilite out with Obsidian - an elegant Pearlcatcher dancer and a warrior Fae in a set of golden armor make a pretty unusual picture.

The couple doesn't care in the slightest though. Sugilite cherishes his mate more than his own life. He tries to read poetry to her - which is clearly not his forte - but she listens anyway. She likes to watch him dance as well, and there are rare moments when she watches the swirling silks and shimmering wings in a the lights of a fireplace and almost smiles, hiding behind her scarf.

That's all the confirmation Sugilite needs anyway.
