Reoni is rather somber, fitting the nightmare fuel she's tasked with memorizing. Her job consists of remembering the worst moments of draginkind so that mistakes are not repeated and successes are, but the stories have changed her. She is not so quick to trust, plagued with the nightmares she speaks of in quiet tones. Much of the time, she is in tears or utterly afraid, paranoid that something from "behind" will leap out to kill her. She says she's seen it happen before.
Some days, she can be rather morbid and unpleasant, uncannily persuasive and merciless. She refuses to go by anything but Whisper, insisting that she is not a dragon but some dark entity sent to devour the world. On those days, her clan usually locks her into a back room of the lair, waiting for her to come back to herself. She always does.

Background

Born to a Light clan, Reoni hatched with a thirst for knowledge that would one day lead to her job. Her parents fed her with tales and raised her on knowledge, encouraging her to leave the clan and explore the world for herself. With little hesitation, she did so, but her knowledge of survival was pitiful. The Clan of the Dead came across her after she'd passed out from hunger, and she would have been killed if Grimm were not seeking a successor. Reoni was immediately taken into the Nightmare trade, and her pleasant, happy stories were twisted beyond belief as she was taught the details of her position, thrust into a world of shadows and wrongness. She nearly lost her sanity, and even now retains traces of the darkness that was settled within her. Now that Grimm has died, she is the sole Nightmare Keeper for the clan, and she is losing her mind.
