MOSSKY

Mossky is the leader of The Clan Of Woodland Healing, though he just calls it Mossky's Clan. He is the leader who's heart is as big as himself, though he didnt come from the kindest of clans. The origin of the Leader of Woodland Healing is one starting through hardship, a weed born from the cracks of concrete. His family's clan could only be described as dysfunctional and abusive, Mossky being only remembered for how his bright pink coat brought all the attention onto him, rather than his dull-furred and scaled clanmates, and how his deep green eyes stuck out among the sea of electric blue. Being born from an abandoned Nature Egg, he was forced into work by his "parents" who griped at his every mistake and punished his every error. It wore down on the poor boy's fragile heart. In the darkness, a beam of Lightweaver's sun shone in the clan. A skydancer by the name of Toffee was the only dragon in the clan that came to understand and befriend-- even love him. But Mossky couldn't stay; the scorn of the clan was too much to bear. Deciding in a fit of adolescent spite to run away and never return, he did just that; sweeping across the sand and stone of the Shifting Expanse until they turned into the glades and streams throughout the Everbloom Gardens, and it was there that he picked a nice mountain for himself and dug a cave. His first few nights were spent alone, depressed. He sat for so long in the murk of his den that the nearby vegetation claimed his body home, and he soon sprouted a withering set of branches from his shoulders, some wooden horns from his head, and the beginnings of writhing vines that circled his arms. He didn't move or eat, or even care for himself until... Until Aleele. The odd, skull-headed fae that descended seemingly from the heavens upon him when his hopes were reduced to crumbles. She offered him company and a friend. With Aleele around, the withering branches grew stronger and more lively. The wooden horns grew to an impressive set of tawny antlers, and the vines snaked around his body, alive and proud of it. The rest is history. Mossky and Aleele become mates, have children, expand their large family, and every new dragon that comes across the clan and stays becomes a part of the family. Mossky isn't sure if his heart can grow larger than it is now, but he is damn happy. |
