Leaffall

The gentle hush covered the land as the storm subsided. It was a rather odd storm; the energy more light and gentle than usual, but it was possibly due to the special occasion that was occurring this day. A Hatchling was ready to bring new energy to the world. As the sun came out, the single egg that laid gently in Cloud and Rapids nest started to shake and stir. They stood in anticipation as small cracks began to spread, the shell breaking quickly. A small Hatchling peeked his head out, the air instantly beginning to swirl around him. He was powerful, and has he walked out, green smoke began to dance around him. It was from that moment that his parents knew he was going to be special.

As Leaffall, the name most fitting for him, grew, his abilities and talents became well known. He was able to create wind storms that would pick rocks up off the ground. He would make the other Hatchlings of the Clan fly up in the air, which proved helpful in their flight training. He was an adventurous Dragon as well, and the older he got, the more curious he became of the world around him. He would often find himself getting into trouble with his wind, but he always found a way to be back on his parents good side. As he grew, his parents would always tell him the story of who they were; their abilities and their power of the Cyclones. He had often questioned why he only harnessed control over the wind, and their answer was always the same; Subcategory.

He was a Subcategory of the Cyclone Dragons. He harnessed the powerful winds of the storm. He would eventually help the Twisting Crescendo on their path through the world. All Cyclone Dragons were meant for that. He was inspired as he learned of his power and knew then that that was why he was so strong. Taking this knowledge into adulthood, he vowed to stay by his parents side and to learn more about the power that he possessed. He grew into a powerful soldier. He loved helping his Clan more than anything and any time a threat came, he, alongside his father, were always up to defend their home. He enjoyed the feeling of the wind that would pass through him as he manifested powerful wind currents.

When he wasn’t helping the Clan or defending their honor, he would often be found in the valleys, practicing the wind that he grew to so fondly of. He would practice control and strength. He would spend hours upon hours doing this. Often times, he would help teach the younger generations about the history of his Clan, and the history of his parents. He loved to learn and read as much as he could about his history and where he and his family come from. He holds great honor in who he is, and holds his head high. He is respected, and holds great respect by and for all the Dragons that he chances to meet. His mind often wanders to the Lands that are around him, but for now, he has decided to stay with his family and learn as much as he can. He grew to be a handsome Dragon; a Dragon that any Clan would be proud to have.
