Biography
The Belspring are a peaceful group of dragons who live in the canopy of the Behemoth. They are a fairly small group of dragons with extremely strong ties to the guardian and guiding spirits of the Labyrinth. All dragons of the Belspring are minorly possessed by various nature spirits that act more as their guides in their work to protect things within the Labyrinth. All dragons of the Belspring are born grey, brown, and drab but when they come of age they bond with a guardian spirit who chooses them and their hide takes on hues that reflect the nature of the spirit. Nissa is Sinou’s cousin and after repeatedly failing at his duties his father, the headman, decided to send Nissa out to assist Sinou in keeping up with his duties. Unlike her cousin who’s a shade shy of bumbling Nissa performs her duties as a guardian of the Labyrinth with elegance, style, and ease. She always knows how to handle a situation and rarely ever needs help. Meaning she was perfect to make sure Sinou didn’t keep messing up in his duties as well. She doesn’t resent her cousin for making her be his babysitter, she’s much too easy going for that. Honestly she feels a bit bad for Sinou that it had to come to this, especially because Sinou is such a nice dragon in general. Despite being younger than her cousin Sinou looks up to Nissa considerably and she’s flattered by his kind words. She doesn’t know what to think of Sinou’s other companion, John but knows if the elders in the Belspring found out about him and that Sinou had used a Wild Seed on his arm they’d be furious so she keeps quiet about it. Instead she just travels around with Sinou helping when needed and often time fixing any issues on her own before Sinou’s decided on a course of action. Nissa’s bonded spirit is a gentle and ancient Gladekeeper’s Beard, a type of moss that hangs from only the boughs of the Behemoth. Often times the moss is used by the Belspring to weave ceremonial apparel including most of the apparel worn by Nissa. As the rare dragon that bonds with the moss spirit only Nissa is allowed to weave with the moss but since she’s been sent out on this task by her uncle she’s unable to do so. But when she is allowed in front of her loom back at the Belspring the cloth that comes out from under her shuttle is amazing, both made of the moss or conventional materials. Her bond with the moss also gives her great insight into the workings of the Labyrinth since it’s directly connected to the Gladekeeper herself so she can more accurately diagnose problems in the Labyrinth and mend them. |

Oooh. Her genes and colours are a really nice combination, especially with the chosen apparel and accents. She looks like a forest guardian.
