Biography

The Deeprealm is an ancient place of myth, legend. It doesn’t actually exist. But any Seer will tell you it does and if you listen to the ramblings of the oldest Water Seers they will speak of it in the softest whispers. It is a place where magic becomes twisted and things do not move in lines. They bend and twist and join and break apart without reason. It lies in a place of dreams. But it is a real place. Down in the bottom of the deepest pits where not even the Tidelord’s great Leviathans will go. Where the sea is blacker than night. A place where dream is reality and ancient things of old magic that survived the Arcanist’s destructive birth still dwell. Chasers of nightmare and larger than any dragon. They are not made of the dragon gods and call no thing their master. They are the hunters there and they guard the secrets of the Deeprealm jealously from wandering Walkers who dream of their landscape. There are Seers known as Deeprealm Walkers who may enter the dreamscape in their sleep. In this place of old and furious magic they know beyond knowing and it is said if you want enough of the gardened paths and avoid the Hunters you can find the truth of everything. If you find the heart of the Deeprealm the whole of the future will be laid out before you. An impossible task when the Deeprealm is not consistent. Time and distance bends and crosses over itself, distorting space so that making any way in the Deeprealm takes life times and instants. And always the Hunters patrol their domain, seeking the Walkers who See into their home and devour them. It is not a swift death and the Hunters do not kill. They eat at your remaining days, shortening your life by seconds, moment, hours, days, years, decades and force Seers from their home. Found on the edge of Dragonhome, where the Labyrinth’s isles are rocky, mountainous and desert by Sinou as a hatchling Reshaar has no memory of where he came from or who he even was. He said the only memory was that of huge white teeth inside a wide, pink mouth and a great blunt tongue, before it clamped upon his head, crushing his skull. He does his best to forget that memory. When Sinou found him his eyes had been destroyed. By falling rocks, an attacker or perhaps self-inflicted by madness no one is quite sure. Now he follows after the Bellspring prince and his ranger in the Labyrinth, blind but not without eyes. Reshaar is a Seer of great ability and shows no talent for magic of any element one way or another except that he is a Seer. Sinou thinks he’s a Water dragon but no one is really sure. He has no eyes to tell his element so it remains a mystery. Reshaar’s gifts are, most of the time, unhelpful. His visions are often wrong or he misinterprets them and hates this about himself. He knows if he was accurate even half of the time he would be far more helpful. So he tries, and he fails, to see a future that is useful or with purpose. And then he dreams of a place of darkness and magic and great shapes of Hunters in the depths, singing to each other in undulating songs. He catches and snatches at visions in his sleep and feels at the cusp of a true Sight being delivered to him before it is snatched away. But the dreams are always the same, though the landscape shifts, ripples, and does not stay in place. But it is the same place. So Reshaar began to construct a map. A map of this dream place where his visions wers strong. John scoffed at his map. How could you map your dreams but Reshaar knew they weren’t just dreams. It was the charting of time as only the Tidelord could understand. Reshaar would too. And if and when he figured out enough of his map to find his way around this place he would learn the shape of Time and then he would be a Seer even more powerful than the Tidelord himself. But it is not a simple tasks. Hunters lurked in the darkness and caught him often, nibbling his tail, wings, or devouring him whole. Sometimes they sang and called to one another around him, circling, playing with him until the anxiety grew too strong and he woke. Not that it made much of a difference. His reality was as dark and sightless as his dreams. |

Sable is such a nice colors, and the skink/spinner really show it off for him. I like how his hat works on him too.

I've recently fallen in love with brown shades, especially with skink/spin and aaaagh sable if definitely one of my favorites. Also great apparel choices, love how the shade of that sash matches with his greenish accent color! Really nice dragon overall.
