____Tern does not want to talk about her past before Hollow and their little clan. Why she was alone, why she had nobody or nowhere to go - it doesn't matter to her, and if it matters to someone else they had better keep it to themselves. Whatever happened before she found herself alone she will not think of anymore, and no living soul shall hear it from her. She was alone, and then she met Hollow. They have each other, they have their little clan, and if either of them ever lost anything, they no longer need it. Tern is fierce and has an edge to her but she is always fair and loyal to her own. Once you are one of hers, you're under her clan's protection, and she will keep you safe. There is no crossing her, but few feel the need to. She knows what she's doing. If you see an uncharacteristic softness in her as she looks at Hollow, if you see the tug at her heartstrings at how little she can do, you are best reminding yourself sharply that you saw no such thing. What's between Tern and Hollow is for them to know, and nobody else to gossip about or guess at.
