Novice healer. Curious yet cautious, still manages to get in the path of misfortune.
Era was turned away from many clans due to her chaotic colors and her tendency to be 'overly helpful' to the point of attracting trouble in battles that she wasn't initially invited to, and thereby causing injury for the entire team, despite her good-natured efforts. Era finally found her place in the Jade Haven clan when she was encouraged to study her skills further by the clan's seer, Jormunr. He placed in her charge a new but injured recruit; a blinded Guardian rescued from a nearby grove where his team had abandoned him. Era tended to his wounds but was unable to restore his sight, and so set about healing him in the only way she could and became his eyes, his guide. She helped him find a new calling and even trained him further in battle, at his request, not realizing that she herself was growing in both crucial battle experience...but also in her heart. She swore to heal him, but with him by her side, she never again felt ugly or unwanted. |
