Biography
His upbringing was somewhat of a social experiment conducted by the dragons of the Survey Team. Would he become the "survey unit specialist" that they had envisioned?
Rank: Survey, Infectionist
Mate: none
11/12/16 Crystalline blood adorned his skin. The body of Maillard's Shadow flight mother was similarly covered in pocks and blood, yet her marks were ones of trial. Her offspring donned the patterns of the Plague flight with innate pride. These native Plague dragons could bleed and grow no weaker, carry disease with not a single symptom. Maillard exemplified this to a point which made her shiver.
11/15/16 One evening, instead of returning to the nesting grounds with the other hatchlings, his father lead him to a different lair. There was a table in the center of the hollowed out tunnel. It was covered in papers, hand drawn maps, and crude pictures of plants, Beastclan creatures, and other dragons. Maillard was perplexed, but to his relief his older brother appeared with a couple of other dragons to keep him company. They offered him food, so much food that he was too busy to notice that his father had left the lair.
11/28/16 As Mirror envoy for The Cell, the survey team attempted to make Maillard appear more approachable; they gifted him a fancy, black hat and then they fastened charming bows to his arms, and one for his tail, yet the team was ultimately unsure if the articles made Maillard more or less of an imposing specimen. Luckily, Maillard was not as mute as some of his rougher Mirror cousins, and could speak eloquently when necessary, a must for the delicate task of negotiating foreign territories and potentially intruded upon dragons. The Survey Team prided itself quick on wit rather than sword, although each member did don weaponry "just in case."
