Biography
She entered the Wasteland under mysterious circumstances. She has been permitted to stay at The Cell so long as she remains an abiding soldier of the Plaguebringer.
Rank: Hunter
Mate: Mad
10/19/16 Her skin was nearly gone before she received the blessing of Mother. She, as Teagarden, was born outside the Wasteland, and it was as if another birth was deemed necessary by the Plaguebringer, a birth by Rot. Dragons that bested this trial truly wished to become a part of the contagion with every fiber of their beings.
10/24/16 The Plague dragons had dubbed her "Pesuto" which meant something between "pest" and "pestilence." No one in the Wasteland knew her true name for Rot had taken her tongue, and she was left mute. It was rumored that she had been an enemy of the Plague Flight, that she had entered the Wasteland with nefarious purpose, but Mother had gotten to her first, and now for unknown reasons, she spared her. Pesuto even chose a Plague native as her mate, their first clutch of three glowing, green eggs were already in the nest.
11/07/16 Pesuto made for an unattached mother. Perhaps it was the muteness or perhaps it was the muteness when compared to brood daddy Hassil who would hum and sing and play with the hatchlings from dawn until dusk, though Shadow dragons were never known for their empathy either. Regardless, she was not unloving, merely unreadable, but from her, her children learned the art of stealth and a good poker face. From their father, Mad, they learned the competing traits of curiosity and hive mindedness and when to curb one for the other. All in all, the first litter of Pesuto and Mad grew into successful, vicious Mirrors befitting of their species.
11/28/16 When Nabooru arrived at The Cell, Pesuto was not certain if she should celebrate or fear the arrival of her old comrade-in-arms, for Pesuto's entire body donned that marks of failure.
Their home clan had discovered a method to resist a great deal of the Wasteland's diseases, giving them an upper hand when combating Plague land dragons, but on her last expedition, something had gone very wrong. Out of shame, Pesuto had never returned home to the Tangled Wood, choosing instead to regroup, assimilating with the Plague flight while she decided what more to do.
With the arrival of Nabooru, she wondered if her power to make a choice in the matter would be stripped from her.
03/31/18 Since the clan's Necromancer had baptized her former cohort in Rot, the trepidation that Pesuto had harbored had since dissipated. Despite her own skin displaying a great withering from the plague lands, Pesuto, too, had taken part in the ceremony and from that moment had succumbed to a quiet peacefulness. Everything was perfect. She was productive, prolific, and blessed by Rot. What more was there to life again? What a silly fantasy she had indulged before. Everyone here was of the same mind, Nabooru included.
