Ethera comes from a noble family and has enjoyed a very good education during her youth. Her archery skills are unparalleled and she knows how to fence as well. As the middle daughter she wasn't planned to inherit a higher position and she decided to leave home with a travelling team of warriors before her parents could get the idea to marry her off. She followed the warriors all the way to the Thonis Atoll and then made the decision to join them, partly out of a strong fascination for their lifestyle.

Ethera is always the first dragon to make a move in any battle. She sneaks up from the surrounding and bathes her opponents in a rain of arrows before they even know what hit them. After that, she waits for Coriolane to join the battle and fights in perfect sync with her, mirroring her claw attacks with a rapier.
