A full coli team consists of three physical-attack based dragons and a magic-based dragon as back-up for higher levels. Anticipate isn't a helpful battle stone for your main team as it will slow you down, but there's an achievement that requires it. In order for a dragon to enter the coliseum it must be a named, well-fed adult, but there are other things that are worth keeping in mind when assembling your team.

✪ Dragon Breed : Hungry dragons are weaker, and if a dragon faints in coli that affects its hunger levels, too. If you have trouble stocking a food-type avoid using a breed that depends on that food-type in your team!
✪ Battle Stones : Dragons come equipped with two battle stones, which ones is dependent on its breed. Any stone can be replaced, and starter stones aren't expensive, so if you want an all-tundra team, go for it! But if you'd rather save treasure it's something to consider.

✪ Love it or leave it!: Pick dragons you like! You'll be looking at them a lot! Building a team requires lots of time and treasure, don't invest all of that into a dragon you're only half-hearted about.
✪ Dragon Flight : Each flight has different vulnerabilities. It's best to have a team composed of a mixture of flights to balance their strengths and weaknesses. Arcane and Water are good to have on a team for the higher levels, which is where the weaknesses will get noticeable.

T R A I N I N G _&_ S T A T S

______ Further down you'll find some in-depth resources that offer excellent advice on training and leveling your team but if you're having trouble deciding between the different possibilities I recommend the following:

✦ Start with your three attack-based dragons. This is your main team! Since they don't have to gather breath they go through fights faster, which increases the number of fights you can do in a smaller amount of time.
✦ Stat two of your dragons according to the first build in Culex's Guide, recommended for loot farming. Not only will they help you grind, but with this build you can level one dragon at a time in the Kelp Beds.

✦ Stat your third dragon according to Culex's Mire-build. When this dragon is fully statted and stoned it can grind, but will also let you level two dragons at once in the Mire. This may not sound like something you want to be able to do right now, but it's a strong build and keeps your options open for later without losing treasure on extra Tinctures to fix stats.

______ When finances get tight and fighting in the higher levels becomes difficult, swap your Mire dragon for your Mage. Magic-based dragons are cheaper to stone and become useful very quickly. They're not recommended for grinding because gathering breath slows you down, but in higher levels a mage makes a big difference!

______ Arcane has Level 25 Rentals! Keep in mind that some of the best battle stones drop more often in the lower levels. Try to split your time between training your own team and grinding, you can sell your loot and buy battle stones with the profit!

Roughly the price per point is:

⌲ meat = 50t X #pt

⌲ plants = 35t X #pt

⌲ insects = 65 X # pt.

ex: find the price of a 4pt meat item : 50 X 4 = 200.
For a stack of 99: 200 X 99 = 19,800. Not a bad haul!

Dominance is a weekly challenge that awards the top three flights with perks that include:
____✪ More gathering turns per day
____✪ Additional treasure bonus per day
____✪ Discounts in the Treasure Marketplace
____✪ Discounts on lair expansions

The only way to win dominance is to exalt dragons. Exalted dragons leave their lair permanently to assist their clan's deity, for Arcane that 's the Arcanist (aka Spacedad). These dragons are often referred to as 'fodder'.

Any dragon in your lair can be exalted, including hatchlings. Don't panic! A confirmation window appears before your dragon leaves the clan. You'll receive a treasure bonus based on the dragon's level. For the best payout it's recommended to level fodder to at least level 5, but how high you go is up to you! There's no 'right' way.

Fodder dragon(s) must be named adults in order to level in the coliseum. The fastest way to level is to have a 'trainer', ( a fully-stoned and statted dragon(s) ) take fodder into the higher venues. This is where Mirers come in handy, as they can take two dragons into the Mire or Ghostlight Ruins!

Dominance pushes happen roughly once a month but it's important to note what type of push is planned, as each type has a different goal!

Profit Push : Aims to make money as a flight by exalting dragons. No money is spent that cannot be made back through exalting fodder.
Conquest Push : Where Arcane strives to top the dominance chart.
Event Pushes : Have different goals depending on the event, but often are Quest Pushes that aims to prepare the flight for Conquest by acquiring battle stones, extra funds, and getting in some practice.
Surprise Apocalypse : Is entirely unique to Arcane. This type of push gives very little notice and aims to see how high up the dominance chart Arcane can climb in a short period of time (1-3 days).

You don't have to exalt dragons to support Arcane during a push! There are lots of different way to help the flight achieve dominance, and it can be as social or as solitary as you like. Check-out Arcane's Dominance Hub for a more comprehensive overview, but different roles include:
