Biography
Lumesce is a light shaper - a sorcerer who uses non-elemental magic to manipulate light. His skills range from creating simple light sources to full scale holographic illusions to beams of focused, destructive energy.
He joined the pack after receiving a letter from Telascia, a former clanmate who had come to the pack several months before, asking if he'd be able to assist with unspecified "research" being done by one of her new clanmates. Intrigued, he made his way north to the pack, where he eventually met Kalrey.
The research, it turned out, consisted of ways to fight off remnants of the Shade and protect the world from further incursions. Kalrey wanted to find out if Lumesce's particular style of magic could be used to better effect than the elemental magics that the Shade so readily absorbed. Of course, testing the theory has turned out to be a longer and more difficult process than hoped, mainly because there's no ready subject to test it on.
Of course, even if the initial research had been completed quickly, Lumesce likely would have stayed with the pack. He and Kalrey quickly grew close, and they're basically inseparable at this point!
