Biography

Darkgleam
Apprentice Herbalist
tumblr_oovzc9VcXo1t34p6fo5_500.png

"So what's it feel like? Dying, I mean."

While she was born under the influence of the Plaguebringer's domain, Darkgleam's parents were simply travelling through the realm. As such, she was never raised with the beliefs of her birth element, instead inheriting her father's sense of humor. Eventually her parents travelled back to the Lightweaver's domain at her mother's request. Darkgleam reached adulthood and left her family, joining another clan nearby.

Interested by the healing arts, Darkgleam petitioned Zelda to join. It soon became evident that she was not cut out for being a primary healer, both her skills with healing magic and her bedside manner leaving much to be desired. Still wanting to pursue her chosen path, Darkgleam was surprised when she was approached by Sachiel. The other offered her a position as her apprentice, which Darkgleam eagerly accepted.

Sachiel's quiet attitude was a stark contrast to Darkgleam, whose dark humor and habit of saying whatever came to mind made many dragons wonder how the two could work so well together. Darkgleam herself sometimes isn't sure how the small pearlcatcher can stand her presence. She was the first to learn of Sachiel's engagement to Nuriel, although it wasn't unexpected. Darkgleam enjoyed teasing Nuriel about his feelings long before the proposal, pushing the boundaries with some of her comments. Still, she is very happy for her friend and mentor and helps out wherever possible (although most of her plans for the bachelorette party have been thrown out).

When she met Mountainheart she was intrigued by the other. It didn't take long before she joined him in his den. Although she has no interest in marriage, Darkgleam doesn't mind being tangentially connected with the pearlcatcher.

Name Origin: Not original. Wasn't really able to come up with anything. :D
