Long ago, it is said that his clan, hailing from the desolate plague lands, learned the ways of lightning. They were eventually so bold as to steal the very essence of Lightning away from the clans of the Shifting Expanse, harnessing its power and using it for weapons of war and conquest. The Stormcatcher himself is said to have descended from his Spire to smite those who had taken his secrets and technology, and Tsochos’ clan were driven back and destroyed, their memories of what they had learned torn asunder as they scattered into the dark desert.

Contrary to belief, this rogue clan lives on, at the outskirts of humanity, and although they retain little of what they had stolen, they still cling to the old belief that their powers were rightfully taken from a vengeful and greedy deity. Tsochos supposedly still carries an ancient blade hewn from the essence of Lightning itself, passed down thru his family.
