Raziel
The Deadly Charmer |
|
B I O G R A P H Y
Raziel is a wildclaw with a very keen sense of ambition and cunning. Many know him as The Deadly Charmer, a name that is right to cast warning onto those who hear it. However, that said, he has a vulnerable past. After being manipulated himself by a person that he had trusted and held very dear to him, he’s learned to be less manipulative himself, but his true nature still shows from time to time. He charms males and females alike with his intense appeal. Towards females, he tends to be more crafty, remembering the female who betrayed him in the past. That said, if one shows true kindness, to him, he will return it. However, towards males, he can be considerably much more charming and friendly, as he has not been manipulated by them in the past. He truly is The Deadly Charmer. He is able to use his incredible wits to lure in the appeal of those that hold anything, absolutely anything that he is after, and to get it from them. With his mastermind ways, few are able to realize his true intentions until it is far too late. He gathers information for the Umbra Sanguis clan, using it to repay them for providing a place where he can belong. Loyal to his clan above all, he is selfless and vigilant. They were the only ones who did not turn him away because of how manipulative he could be towards others, and for that, he owes them everything. He will see it through that his clan will achieve everything they deserve, and he will personally stop anybody who believes they can put an end to their ambitions to grow and to expand further. He thinks the most of himself and the least of other people. He gives off a sense of nobility to all those who see him. There’s been many before who have asked him if he was a prince, to which, he chuckled, and thought he deserved to be. He thinks very highly of himself, and of his ways, thinking of it so amusing how easily and skillfully he can trick other dragons into spilling everything to him. Even if a dragon were foolish enough not to tell him what it had been hiding, he’d ensure with claw and teeth that they would. There hasn't been a single nut that he hasn't been able to crack. He keeps an impressive espionage track record. Lore done by Rebdomine _____________________________________ It was a gloriously sunny morning, and the air was practically alive, tinged with the hopefulness of a new day and flushed with a breezy wind that played with Raziel’s silky scarf. The silk was adjusted to perfection almost immediately, and the Wildclaw glanced down at himself, making sure nothing else had been whisked out of place. “After all, I couldn’t possibly waltz into town looking disheveled,” he murmured to himself, chuckling. “I would lose much of my charm and mystique, I should think.” Amused and satisfied with the state of his attire, Raziel strode purposefully towards his destination, nodding curtly at a few familiar faces but keeping a cold distance between himself and the others. He had an image to keep, after all. It simply wouldn’t do to have the spymaster becoming too friendly with any single dragon. A glittering image flickered through his mind: shimmering and iridescent, flecked with rose petals. It was gone as quickly as it came, and Raziel’s expression flitted to one of bewilderment, before it was forced under his facade of airiness and calm once more. It’s just the sun, he reasoned. I’m having hallucinations. Raziel inhaled deeply, breathing in the sweet air and relaxing as the wisps tickled his nostrils, and continued on his way. Nearby, drooping wisteria trees fluttered in the shadows, dappling the sunlight on the shallow waters beneath, the buzz of insects thickening the air. Enchanting mushrooms, glowing blue even in the daylight, were scattered artfully about, casting a glimmer on blades of murky grass. Though Raziel had walked this path a myriad of times, so much so that he saw it in his dreams, he still stopped to contemplate his surroundings, taking it all in with a soft gaze so much different than the one he had eyed his clanmates with. Eventually, however, he continued on, eager to reach the end of his journey. Within a few moments, Raziel entered a small grove where sunlight filtered through the shadowed canopy above, casting hazy rays on the creatures beneath. Once more, Raziel adjusted his scarf and suit, though he wasn’t quite sure why. A pearly glimmer caught his eye, just at the corner of his vision. “Good morning, Luca,” the Wildclaw greeted the alabaster statue amiably. “It’s a wonderful day, don’t you think?” There was, of course, no response, but Raziel didn’t mind. He knew that Luca could hear him, and that was good enough. His serene silence was pleasant and non-judgemental; talking to Luca helped Raziel clear his head. Setting down the satchel containing his breakfast, Raziel lowered himself to the ground and stared thoughtfully at the blades of grass beside him. “Have you ever wondered what it would be like, to be so carefree as grass?” Raziel deftly plucked a tuft of green off the ground, and held it up to the light, watching as the sunshine danced through the translucent emerald blade. “To move only with the wind, and to have but one purpose in life: to grow?” There was a beat of gentle silence, broken only by the lone cry of a songbird. Raziel glanced at Luca, wondering what his thoughts were beneath the stone exterior, and let the blade of grass drift slowly from his talons. He then began to unpack his breakfast, uncharacteristically humming a cheerful tune and feeling lighter than he had in ages. As Raziel chewed thoughtfully, he described to Luca his experiences as spymaster for the clan, and felt a great burden ease from his shoulders the more he talked. He voiced the mistrust he had of the dragons he spoke to, and how it was difficult sometimes to keep up such a facade of aloofness and charm. The time passed swiftly. Above them, the sun rose higher and higher in the air, seeming to beam down at the unlikely pair. Story done by Silverazura |

Chaosdragoness
The Imperial fluttered her wings behind her as she was approached by the Wildclaw. He listened to his words, eliciting a chuckle from her. His way with words did have an effect. Alas, she had a reading upon him. When his introduction had finished, she spoke the words of what he had been seeking for... "Your silver tongue proves to have great deception. I do not see the puppeteer once again becoming the puppet, but I see his charm beginning to cause even the strongest to question themselves. While you are capable of luring dragons, you'll have one special dragon wrapped around your talons. Who this dragon is has yet to be discovered, or so it seems. You may be the charmer, but you must have a back-up for your own intentions." Love wrote:
