Biography

OLTHUNIR

"Olthunir and Nann became the new leaders of Blaze vein after Lava schemes works and she kills Zeimo and Meiri. With Amber by her side and her spies, Lava and Amber aims to take control of Blaze Vein one day."

Some dragons are born into the role of leader, raised from birth to marshal their clans with pride and confidence. Others strive to make their way up the ladder, some seeking to protect and some hungry for greater power than they have. And still others have leadership thrust across their backs, the heavy burden pulling them down even as they fight onward, upward.

Olthunir falls into the final category. Most of his life has been spent happily fighting in defense of his clan with his mate at his side; Nann was the one who encouraged him to grow stronger all those years ago, and he has never abandoned her, not once. But their world, once made simply of border skirmishes and sorties, tunneled dramatically when their clan lost both its leaders.

Two dragons, fallen in one night. They left no immediate successors in their wake, and thus the clan dissolved into madness. It was not by choice that Olthunir wove his way between dragons, soothing their nerves, centering their hearts. It was by necessity. If he had not tried to end the chaos, the clan would have dissolved into bitter civil war, everyone turning on one another in the name of survival. Even now, remnants of disorder creep through, but his initiative in calming the clan has earned him the tenuous rank of leader, and his prowess in battle has dissuaded any attempts to alter the regime.

One day, he would like to pass the title on to someone worthier, someone whose blood doesn’t call for the plain life of a warrior with orders to defend, but for now, he must hold his clan together with everything he has, no matter how little that may be.
