The low rumbling song of a ridgeback as he begins the first smelt of the day acts as a signal to the rest of the clan that morning has come. Plinian works in the furnace of the clan within the volcano nicknamed She of Steel, forging and crafting whatever is needed for that day as well as maintaining the pipes that warm the homes of non-Ice dragons and the greenhouse. He rarely leaves, content to bask in heat that is always so hard to come by in his frozen home.
Plinian has somehow found a niche of being everyone's friend, yet not really knowing anything about anyone. It's not like he minds the attention, but he'd love to know what all these dragons seem to find so approachable about him. And their names. He's bad with those.
Plinian is a staple player in the clan's income - if he is not at the furnace, he is discussing potential new items with Mytho and Sasha, or tuning up any prosthetics in need. Lumpy is another friend, even if the requests to reach specific temperatures for 'optimal growth' of their moss farms can get a little ridiculous. So long as they don't try to touch any of his own collection of painstakingly handcrafted work, such as the first five or so editions of Ortolan's new leg or the prototype armor for the entire Frostguard, visitors are more than welcome to come and look around.
