The male wandered through various territories of the Beastclan's, trying to find a place to stay. He did find different areas, made some friends, but never truly stayed. He did gather up trinkets, like his satchel and his scarf, but not much else did he keep. He'd rather do that, than keep remembering dragons he'd never see again. It was not a good time for him, as he was still trying to find his place. Taking the name Doc, he became a traveling doctor of sorts, and would help in whatever way he could wherever he happened to stop. After stopping in one village, Doc came across a very large mountain range. Curiosity overpowered him, and he decided to take a soar up to it. It was so beautiful up there, the air clear and the feeling of the cold on his fur made him feel more alive and at home than he ever had in his life. It lasted for hours, just leisurely flying. When a storm rolled in, he took refuge in a cave, lying just at the mouth of it and watching the flurry of flakes pass by. This didn't last too long, though, as he was abruptly attacked by a strange white mirror. She didn't hurt him, but she sure wasn't happy to have been found in her cave, especially not by some strange tundra. Doc explained he'd been caught in the storm, and apologized profusely for intruding. The mirror wasn't sure what to think, but accepted his apology, and introduced herself as Comet, and told him he was welcome to stay for as long as he wished, and the rest, as they say, is history. |

The two green dragons were huddled together in the small area where herbal remedies and the like were organized and dealt with. Doc and The Enchantress by no means got along, but they did work well together. As long as there wasn't any problems that came from the other dragons. For example, running low on medicine. Or a familiar or two trying to help and messing things up. "No need to be so pessimistic, dear." Doc clicked his tongue, eyes narrowed. "There's still hope yet. Perhaps we can send Spooky and her little brigade of familiars to find them; those leaf creatures are very good at finding herbs." Doc had grown fond of the guardian, and he knew she was doing her best to wrangle her multiple jobs; she'd been the one who had wanted to take on the tasks, and the others could tell that she was doing great. She was even learning magics of different kinds. So, Doc knew he could trust her with something like that. There was a low hissing from the noodle fem. "As though we should trust that bubble-brained child. She doesn't even know the sorts of things we'd need. It'd be better to send Navi; at least my daughter knows what she's doing compared to that outsider." Enchantress curled around herself, fixing the brim of her green hat. Doc gave her a mild look, fur ruffling a bit at her callousness. She was just being difficult because Spooky came from one of the clans that Comet had allied herself with. Enchantress herself had been someone who had, oddly enough, escaped from a set of portals, trapped by a mad king. She didn't belong here any more than Spooky did, or even Jupiter or Nori, with that sort of thinking. The only reason she was here because Comet trusted her, and had worked with her to deal with those problems that Enchantress had. It was so odd how close minded she was. It could be worse, but he did not appreciate her tone at all. "That is your opinion, dear. I'm sure if we took it up with Comet, she'd say something much different. Last time Navi was sent out, she brought back that Abyss fellow. And we both know how well that went. She's still under probation." Doc replied. "At any rate, it is not your decision to make, dearie." In all honesty, Doc did not trust Enchantress. He would have to keep a closer eye on her from now on. |
