O R I G I N S
Her wish came true, oddly enough, and she found Doc, an oddly patterned Tundra that looked quite a bit like a parrot might. He said he'd got lost in the storm, trying to navigate the stars. She took him in, fixed him up, and the two grew close over many months. The two became mates, and after many times of trying, they only produced one egg. Trustywing. However, the young Tundra did not feel like this mountain was her home, and flew away, to find a new home in a new clan. Distraut and defeated, Comet began seeking out other clans, two of which responded well and formed an alliance with the rather puny clan. From the Earth and from Nature tribes that were nearby, they helped get the clan on their feet. Supplies, food, even dragons young and old came to the clan. It was a small start, but it definitely helped. They were even fortunate enough to make an alliance with a Plague's tribe, and more dragons came from there. The four work in close quarters, and it was more than enough to start them off right. Eventually, a dragon that went only by the name of "Enchantress" found her way to the clan, and pulled a stunt months into her stay, changing Comet from a Mirror to a Guardian. The former mirror is still struggling with this fact, and isn't all too pleased with Enchantress. |

"You're probably more interested as to why I'm leader, not Nori or Jupiter, right?" You nod, answering that you would like to know how to clan works, and you may wish to join. "Alright. Let me set this down and I'll be right with you." Comet does just that, basically soaring down from her original spot to stand in front of you. It's plainly obvious that she's not the largest member of this clan, nor the smallest, not even close to being the average size, in fact. She looks at you oddly, and then motions with her tail. "This is my personal collection; this is where I keep tabs of who has all lived here, among other things. Impressive, is it not?" Again, you don't answer, and she looks very disheartened. You do notice, though, that for a former Mirror, she is rather calm and collected, kind even. "Here, in my clan, we all work together. Dragons seem to listen to me first and foremost, seeing as I'm the one who brought them here, and in some cases saved them from rather unfortunate situations. At the very least, they show me respect. It would do you good to do the same." Comet's voice held a hint of ice, a hint of a hiss to it that you almost weren't sure that you'd even heard it at all. "At any rate, I'm not the only one in charge; far from it, in fact. "I have a council of dragons from almost all the flights, from many different regions. Jupiter and Nori are indeed a part of this, so you'd be right to think that they are in power, at least to some degree. When there is a problem, we all come together, and we all solve it with our differing opinions and thoughts." "All dragons here have a specific purpose or job, none are too small or too little. I'd like to think that no dragon is useless. There are dragons that wander, to find what they feel in their heart, like Catalyst, and even they are welcome to stay for however long they wish." You recalled seeing a pretty turquoise imperial slip out just before you had come into the cavern. "At any rate," She interupted your train of thought, smiling warmly. "Thank you for dropping by; it's very nice to have visitors every now and again! Do be sure to check in with Enchantress or Starkiller before you leave, though. Or speak to Doc or Nori before you decide to stay. It would be such a shame if you didn't. These mountains are very cruel to those they don't know." |
