"Now, now! Don't cause a fuss! Keep it up, and I'll be seeing you in my quarters later."
One of the two founders of the Radiant Hollow, along with her mate, Socrates, whom she refers to by his birth name, "Klaus", and the mother of Cato and Ren. Xena is rather intelligent, which may surprise others given the breed that Xena belongs too. Not much is know about Xena's past, as the young Tundra is not very open about herself. In fact, if it weren't for the gleaming, pale yellow of her eyes, no dragon would even be able to confirm which flight Xena hails from.Of the information know about her, it is known that Xena had been living sufficiently on her own in the Sunbeam Ruins in her burrow. Unfortunately, after a flash flood caused by a terrible storm, Xena's home was destroyed, and the poor Tundra was left without shelter for almost half a season, wandering the Sundial Terrace in search of a new place to call a home. It was then by luck alone, that Xena happened across the same foraging grounds of Socrates, then called Klaus. Being the first fellow Tundra that she had seen in what felt like forever, she quickly picked up on Socrates' kind scent. The two were quick to strike up a conversation, and eventually, Socrates asked Xena where she lived. Xena answered, although now in a much more remorseful tone, that her home had been destroyed, and that she was now homeless. Socrates was taken aback by this, and in an act of kindness towards his fellow Tundra, he asked Xena if she would like to stay with him for a while, at least until she was able to find a new home. Although surprised by the sudden offer, Xena accepted after some hesitation about intruding where she was not welcome. Some time passed after Xena moved in with Socrates. In return for the dragon's immense generosity, Xena, upon learning that Socrates was illiterate, took it upon herself to teach him how to read. This action led not only to a new perspective on life for Socrates, but it led to the eventual foundation of the Radiant Hollow, as well as the two Tundras falling in love. To this day, Xena is the only dragon who knows and refers to Socrates by his birth name. Now, Xena serves as the disciplinary for the Hollow, creating and enforcing the rules to ensure a happy, peaceful sanctuary of study and thought. In a sense, Xena is the true headmaster of the Hollow, and her kind and intelligent nature makes her a beloved, integral member. In the time not spent ensuring that the rules are followed, Xena herself utilizes her intellect to teach hatchlings born in the Radiant Hollow how to read, so that they too may broaden their horizons. (There is some debate among the residents on whether or not Xena may be a better teacher than Socrates, as the latter tends to let his scatterbrained eccentricities get the better of him.)
