Y A N G His Heart Still Beats Alchemist Anxious / Humble / Damaged / Helpful Even as a young hatchling Yang was a very conflicted individual, he was never very good at hunting, fighting, or gathering. Since his parents are very good healers and crafters. Yang feels that he has an enormous burden on his shoulders, he wants to be a warrior, something other than what his father does, but straying away from destiny is not advised, one might say to him. Hinoki is the one who pushed him to follow in her footsteps, Kinari just wants Yang to be happy. In the end, Yang hopes his twin brother Yin has a good life, with no expectations or rules, Yang also hopes to see him again one day. Yang's story is one of bravery and the endless search for self-worth. After he found a steady job in being a courier, mostly to just escape his mother's glare, he found himself tending to two young hatchlings whenever he could. They lived in a place he crossed quite often and they soon relied on him for food and protection. What Yang didn't know was that they were offspring of a wealthy ruler called Columbus, who was recently killed in a battle by a malicious conquerer called Akris. Since the hatchlings were Columbus's only heirs and worthy to take back their father's throne, Akris set out to destroy them. One foggy morning while Yang was returning with food for them, he found their hideout to be raided and the hatchlings strangled to death, he stayed there two whole days to mourn them. returning to Verdant, Heart was a the only other dragon to know of this, and he counciled him to say that it wasn't his fault, and he'll find what he was meant to do someday, he promised. So Yang told himself he would continue being a Courier until he found what he was truly meant to do. While traveling the lands, delivering a 'secret' ingredient to a famed chemist, Yang discovered a secret gathering of scientists and chemists alike. This gathering brought together many idealists and discoverers, many dragons had made advances that Yang had never dreamed of, and there he had an epiphany, this is his true calling. Yang waited for so long, being patient for the day he found his purpose, traveling as a courier gave him time to think and money in his pocket, but no what he was meant to do. Following this inner discovery, he signed up to be picked as an apprentice to one of the chemists. He was picked to serve a famed chemist named Darc, a mysterious fellow, but straightforward and driven. yang doesn't spend very much time at home anymore, he is usually traveling around the territories, gathering items, doing what he previously did as a courier. Yang learned all he could on the subject, even made his own lab coat for mixing ingredients. Darc was impressed with the coatl's raw skill with alchemy, and took to it to teach him specifically about how to create new items and objects. For now, Yang has finally found what he was put in the world to do, and he is very happy with himself. Nowadays, Yang is an accomplished independent alchemist. If you need something made, Yang is the one to go to. His knowledge of recipes and formulas in unmatched, though his skills lean towards nature-themed experiments. He even has his own lab deep in the clan's palace, with shelves upon shelves of ingredients strewn about. This is the happiest Yang could ever be, he always greet visitors with a smile and obliges to their requests. Even though some of his friends have left or perished, he seems to keep a smile on his face no matter the situation. He had gone through so much, he believes he can get through pretty much anything.
