Position: Not a member of the Kith: René is an acquaintance and friend, and offers helpful services to the search for the El Dorado.
Relationships
Parents: (Lucky Clover & Enchanted): René regards both of his parents highly, though he rarely speaks this fact directly. His stage name and current home in Wind Flight can both be attributed to them.
Siblings:
(All): René has several siblings back in Shadow Flight who have gone their separate ways like he has.
Mate:(None): René hasn't given any indication that he's looking for a mate, but his cousin Chisanau suspects he is keeping his eyes peeled for a gorgeous gal.
Offspring:(None): René has no mate, and therefore no hatchlings to speak of. He seems in no hurry to have any.
Friends:
(All): René is familiar with the many members of the Marketplace community, and knows the names of nearly every shop owner in the bazaar area. He considers them all part of a closely-knit group of friends and confidants, which includes some of their best customers. Though normally quiet and mysterious, René is a generous friend who knows no limits when it comes to caring for the ones he cares about.
Familiar:(None): Instead of keeping a constant companion, René prefers to be without a Familiar. Those that do stay with are with him are temporary, and know to be on their best behavior around his home of very breakable and flammable objects.
Story
Let Me Show You What I Learned from the Dark...
After being born and raised in the Shadow Flight, René moved to his parents' birthplace in Wind Flight and became the owner of a fortune shop in the Marketplace. There, he reads tarot cards for his customers under the shade of a trinket-filled tent. Fortune reading, he claims, is something he learned from his time in the Shadow Flight.
Ordinarily mysterious in the exotic, smoky-voiced way that the fortune-teller image portrays, René is also known for immense warmth of heart and insight into the subtlest hints of what a dragon's future holds. He, and many others in the Marketplace circuit, will proudly name him the best card-reader in the Market. No one else would be recommended for dragons uncertain in their lives.
René takes his nickname, Sham, from two origins: firstly, Shamrock, after his father's name, LuckyClover. Secondly, and more recently, the tendency of some disbelieving customers to call him a fraud. This name is more common in the friendly Marketplace circles, who believe wholeheartedly in his abilities, but find humor in the large amount of cynics that enter this Fae's shop.

Valued Possessions: A whole host of trinkets, including several valuable decks of tarot cards. Whereas most merchants wear Ruby Brooches as a sign of wealth, René wears it's opposite, an Emerald Brooch, as a humble sign of pride for his modest shop.
Habits: René has the unexplainable habit of not clearly stating what he means, yet stating it just clear enough that you infer exactly what he means. It's confusing and troublesome at times, but it mostly just adds to his mysterious nature.
