What makes a man a man?

The only life he knew was that of a b*stard and was always treated as such. He never knew his father and his mother died a few years after his birth. He had been a slave from the very beginning, which is shown by the markings on his arms. He was branded when he was just 14 summers. When he reached maturity at 18, his beauty gathered unwanted attention. Men and women craved him. He hated it and shied away from people. Until he was given by the Mad King as a gift to a visiting Prince of another kingdom. His fate took a turn for the worse. As a pleasure slave, his life was not his own. It was then that he acquired the face markings of that kind of slave.

His face still burning with pain from the branding, his Prince whispered secrets that would change everything. The Mad King told the Prince in one of his moments. He was the son of the older brother of Mad King. He is the b*stard son of the previous king. The man hated the attention focused on him, fearing the secret of his birth, as the previous king left no heir and the Kingdom went to his brother.

Soon, hate filled him against the aristocracy who had brought him nothing but shame and pain. He trained and educated himself in his free time. And when the perfect moment came, he planned to assassinate the Prince and then his father. But then he failed in killing the Prince, the guy bartered with him. In exchange for his help in disposing his father, he'd owe the Prince one favor in the future that he'll never refuse. He agreed.

As he plunged his knife in the Mad King's heart, the man touched his face softly for the first and last time. "You look exactly like him." And then he was captured by his cousins, the Mad King's sons. He was beaten and left for dead in the dessert. And there he was found by Niklaus and Athea. He was cared for until he was back to health. He went back to chaos.

It seemed like the sons battled within themselves for the right of the Kingdom and left them all dead. Faster than he could blink, he was pushed to his seat of Royalty, with the support and the revelation of the Prince about his birthright. He accepted the crown, with Niklaus and Athea on his sides as his most trusted advisers. And so his reign as The King began.

A major God, considered the king of the pantheon. He rules over dreams and personal strength. He is often associated with foresight. Common offerings made to Him include: blue gems, ink, devotional letters, and the act of meditation. Many keep small statues or images of Him on their person to give them strength and to fill them with His spirit, and remind them to stay loyal to themselves.


He is stern and stoic, and tends not to be a very big talker. He acknowledges all of His followers and is not stingy with His blessings, but is picky with accepting those who decide to devote themselves to Him. It is well known that He may choose favorites. To those He favours, however, He may act as a sort of mentor. He usually prefers to communicate through signs and symbols. Those He favours are generally better at deciphering and understanding His messages.

He most often appears as a vibrantly-coloured imperial dragon adorned with silks. He has many other forms, but another most common form He appears as a tall, elven man with a lean body and intense, grey eyes.
