B I O G R A P H Y

______ SparkVolt winced as her metallic talons clicked on the cold, hard stone. It had been a while since the accident but it still hurt. She gazed down at her metallic body and sighed. She hated it. Vallei hadn't been able to cure her after the accident, so they decided to replace her injured pats without her consent. Though it's better then dead, she supposes. Her eyes look up around the library and her heart leapt with nervousness as she found the one she had been looking for. SparkVolt grabbed it carefully and looked at the cover. This recorded game was her namesake. Nightcrystal warned her about reading it and said it wouldn't be good for her to read it. She didn't care. It was a long record. Her claws shook as she turned the pages, reading about everything. She dropped the scroll on the floor in shock, where it clattered to the ground. Nightcrystal rushed in, hearing the noise. She stared at SparkVolt and then the scroll the lay at her claws. "I told you that you shouldn't have read it," she scolded her. "Now go do something productive. We are very busy and can't have you slacking off." She ran from the library back into her laboratory. Where the accident had happened.

______ It had been a cold, windy day and she was going about her business as usual, testing things in her laboratory. She had just grabbed some new ingredients from Vallei for her experiment. She was carefully mixing the ingredients and watching in awe as the mixture changed and grew. It was beautiful. Suddenly, Acal stopped in to ask her about something. She looked at the male skydancer for a brief minute, but as soon as he had left something went wrong. Her mixture had flowed out of the container and was spilling all over the floor. She tried to stop it and save her reports and previous experiment but it was too late. The mixture hit her stored explosives and they went off. "That's impossible! The mixture wasn't made with anything that could set them off!" she cried. Dragons heard the explosions and rushed to her cave but they were too late. The dust settled and SparkVolt was nowhere to be seen. They dug up all the debris and found her buried under a large piece of stone. She was barely breathing and unconscious. Vallei tried to heal her with magick but nothing worked. Finally she asked Iceflame for permission to use her last resort. Iceflame granted Vallei permission and Vallei altered SparkVolt. Her gravelly injured parts, unable to be saved, were replaced by machine parts.

______ SparkVolt now blames Acal for the explosion and hates him. She goes out of her way to avoid him at all costs. Everyone knows the skydancer's name means cursed and that's exactly what he is. A curse that should've been removed years ago. Her wounds still hurt and she's almost constantly in pain. Some days the pain is too much to bare and she stays in her laboratory all day. He wings were ruined so she can no longer fly and is forced to stay on the ground. She has become a bitter and solitary dragon, keeping to herself in her laboratory and interacting with other dragons no more than she must.
