Faolan came from absolutely nothing. As a child, she was abandoned by her parents when her strong psychic abilities began to show. She spent time in the streets of Lanternlea before being picked up by an orphanage and put to work in the surrounding fields for unkind farmers who's pittance she was paid went straight back to the hands of the orphanage overseers. Upon aging out of the system, which had beaten into her the need to hide her gifts, she headed west of Lanternlea, walking as far as her legs could take her. This is where she finds the large, green jade statue. Thinking nothing of it she stayed the night, only to dream of Divinity. The dreams do not chase her off and she stays in the large building that houses the statue, learning all there is to know from it. This is how it is when Soviet arrives into her life, bedraggled and weary. She takes him under her wing and helps Divinity teach him about his powers and how to communicate with the statue.
