Hatchling Caretaker
One of the most important roles in a Clan is to keep the hatchlings occupied. It's also one of the most tiring and frustrating jobs, but someone has to do it. History Nyx's mother is one of the Shade-Touched, and as such, Nyx doesn't have the fondest memories of her childhood. She was always told to go fetch things, this sharp rock and that bloodied feather in order to please her mother, and she had no choice, otherwise her mother threatened her with terrifying creatures and sharp teeth and claws. Too afraid to object, Nyx instead fled for her life as a youngling, tired of her life wrought with terror and tainted by the Shade. She was lost and alone when Carmin discovered her, and she looked up to the dragoness's mental willpower and stability. She joined the Clan, and has remained loyal ever since. Personality Nyx's voice is light and airy, to match herr beautiful laugh that echoes from her den. She is always kind-hearted and bright-spirited. She has a positive attitude and is entirely against acts of heavy narcissism, cursing, black magic, cussing, dark arts, violence and argument. She believes setting an example is an important part of showing the hatchlings how to be mature adults. Nyx also is incredibly smart in terms of dragon breeds, so she is able to understand each of her hatchlings, their habits, diets, natural development, and most importantly, what they should or shouldn't do. But otherwise she is laid-back, and loves having a good laugh with 'her children'. Residence The Watchkeep A friendly-looking tower jingling with bells and windchimes. It has a rounded edge and several floors, each only reachable by flight; not including the ground floor, of course. For what it's called, it doesn't really follow its purpose. Nyx's floor of the Watchkeep is dominated with toys of various kinds, and has shelves littered with books and trinkets. Blankets and pillows line the edge of the room, and her own nest is in the center where she can look after all the children. Her den is also 'her children's' den, as it is where she takes care of each of the hatchlings, tending to their every need with a smile.
